How much will the conservation easement process cost?

At this time North Olympic Land Trust does not charge for its services; however there are incidental costs associated with the donation that each landowner must consider. For example, landowners are expected to schedule and pay for an appraisal, purchase title insurance, and contribute to the Stewardship Fund. These expenses are discussed in greater detail during an initial meeting with Land Trust representatives. There may be grant opportunities to help defray some of these costs.
